Fiber vs CO2 — Choosing the Right Laser
We run two laser technologies, and the right one depends on your material:
- Fiber laser cutting is used for metals — mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum — with high speed, a minimal heat-affected zone and accuracy up to ±0.1mm.
- CO2 laser cutting is used for non-metals and plastics such as acrylic, ABS and PVC/WPC/foam, producing flame-polished edges on acrylic.

Accuracy and Design Rules
Laser cutting removes a narrow kerf of material — typically 0.1–0.3mm for fiber laser cutting. To get a clean part, your DXF should consist of closed loops that do not intersect. For bent parts, draw bend lines as dashed, straight lines across the part. These requirements are explained in full on the design and quote page and defined in the glossary.

Pricing is calculated automatically: material per sq ft per mm thickness, cutting per mm of cut length, and bending per bend. Base indicative rates are on the rate card. Frequently Asked Questions
Do you cut metal and plastic on the same order?
Yes. Metals are cut on the fiber laser and plastics on the CO2 laser, so mixed-material orders are handled in one online workflow.
What tolerance can you hold?
Laser cutting holds accuracy up to ±0.1mm, and CNC bending holds bend-angle accuracy up to ±0.5°.
Do I need to prepare the DXF in a special way?
Use closed loops that do not intersect, and mark any bend lines with dashed straight lines. The design page explains all requirements.
Is there a minimum order?
